About the course English Upper-Intermediate - fast (B1 → B2)
Are you ready to take your English to the next level? Are you already able to use English in everyday life, but want to learn more? In this course, you’ll focus on improving your language skills. For example, you’ll expand your vocabulary and brush up on your grammar. You’ll learn to respond with more nuance and communicate with greater confidence. This will help you develop a better feel for the language and get more out of conversations, texts, and audio in English.
In 18 English lessons:
- you’ll speak more fluently and with greater confidence;
- you use more words and phrases to express yourself;
- you can present and discuss more abstract ideas more easily;
- you’ll write more accurately in a natural style;
- you’ll understand more of what you read and hear in English;
- you’ll be able to communicate in a more nuanced way in all kinds of situations.
In this course, you will work toward language level B2. By the end, you will speak and write with greater ease, express more complex ideas more clearly, and better understand English-language texts and media. You will sound more fluent and feel more confident in both social and professional settings. After this course, you can move on to the next level: Advanced English Course (B2 → C1). You can also take the Cambridge First exam after this course if your goal is to earn an internationally recognized certificate proving that you have reached level B2.

Approach
You practice a lot in pairs, small groups and class. You will work with situations from everyday life so that you can use English directly in conversations that are relevant to you. You will have plenty of room to speak, make mistakes and learn from them in a safe environment. You will also be encouraged to learn outside the classroom.
Teaching Materials
You work with the book “English File Pre-Intermediate,” supplemented by online exercises, homework and a pronunciation app. The material helps you practice grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking in a practical way. You can also download a special Pronunciation App to use with the course. Before the start of the course, we will inform you how to easily order the learning materials so that you can start your lesson well prepared.
Teachers
You will be taught by an experienced teacher who has an eye for your learning goals and development points. You will regularly receive targeted feedback on your language use, pronunciation and communication. The teacher responds to the needs of the group and provides a safe, motivating learning environment in which you grow step by step.
Certificate of Participation
