About the Spanish 3 course
Are you comfortable having simple conversations in Spanish and would you like to learn how to discuss more abstract topics? In this course, you’ll further expand your vocabulary and conversational skills through personal conversation topics. You’ll learn how to express yourself in social situations and how to share past experiences. This will allow you to communicate more fluently and confidently in an increasing number of situations.
In 9 Spanish lessons:
- talks about feelings, habits, and problems;
- express your preferences and make comparisons;
- you know how to address someone formally and informally in different situations;
- ask for permission, apologize, and explain your behavior;
- you talk about your past experiences and your plans for the future;
- Use time expressions to indicate when something happens.
In this course, you will work toward language level A2-. By the end, you will be able to participate more easily in conversations on more abstract topics. You will express yourself more clearly, understand more, and feel more confident responding in Spanish. After this course, you can continue with Spanish Course 4 (A2).
DELE Exam
Do you want to live, work, or study in Spain? After completing Spanish Course 2 or 3, you can take the DELE exam at the A1 level, depending on your language proficiency. The DELE exam is an official, internationally recognized certificate issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport. You take the exam itself at an accredited testing center. Our teachers can advise you on your language level, how to prepare, and which institute to register with.

Approach
You work alternately in pairs, small groups and classrooms. This way you practice intensively with the situations on some more abstract topics. In the classes you will speak Spanish as much as possible, so you will progress faster and build more confidence.
Teaching Materials
You will work with the book Aula Internacional 2, a widely used method for learning Spanish. During the course, the book will be supplemented with additional assignments and exercises. For self-study you will receive teaching materials and assignments, which will be discussed during the meetings. Before the start of the course we will inform you how you can easily order the teaching materials, so that you can start your lessons well prepared.
Teachers
You will be taught by an experienced teacher who has an eye for your learning goals and development points. You will receive targeted feedback on your use of language, pronunciation and communication. The teacher guides you step by step and provides a safe environment in which you dare to practice.
Certificate of Participation
You will receive a certificate of participation from us if you have actively participated in at least 80% of the meetings.
