About the French 6 course
Would you like to advance your French to language level B1? In this course, you’ll deepen your knowledge of the language through current events and cultural topics. You’ll watch French television, read texts and literature, and discuss them with the group. Through presentations and discussions, you’ll actively practice communicating. This will help you expand your vocabulary and make it easier to converse with French speakers while traveling, studying, or working.
In 9 French 6 lessons:
- you will speak French more fluently in conversations and group discussions;
- present a topic clearly in French;
- you’ll learn to recognize variations in French through television;
- you will read and discuss French texts, literature, and poetry;
- you’ll expand your vocabulary with cultural and current topics;
- respond confidently to the opinions and ideas of others.
In this course, you will work toward achieving language level B1. By the end of the course, you will be able to confidently participate in conversations and discussions in French.

Method
Our teaching method combines a structured approach with hands-on working methods. The lessons are active, personal, varied and practical. There is always attention for your learning style, pace and level. Curious about how we design this course?
Approach
Each lesson starts with a brief review of the previous lesson and space for questions. Then you work alternately in class, in groups or individually on interactive assignments. You will also watch French television and discuss different types of texts. This way you learn to use the language in realistic situations and develop more self-confidence in French.
Teaching Materials
You work with the book ‘Édito B1’ (work and textbook), supplemented with texts, videos and assignments. The material connects to current and cultural topics and helps you to actively apply French in conversations, presentations and discussions. Before the start of the course, we will inform you how you can easily order the learning materials so that you can start your lessons well prepared.
Teachers
You will be taught by an experienced teacher who will guide you step by step as you learn French. The teacher provides targeted feedback on your pronunciation, grammar and communication. In addition, you will gain insight into French culture, customs and language usage so that the language really comes alive.
Certificate of Participation
You will receive a certificate of participation from us if you have actively participated in at least 80% of the meetings.
