We use high-quality language resources to help you master Dutch:

• De Opmaat: For our beginner courses, we use the book *De Opmaat*, which was developed specifically by our own instructors, Maud Beersmans and Wim Tersteeg. It is perfect for people with a higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) background who want to learn Dutch as a second language.
• De Sprong: In this book, you’ll learn 2,000 new words, practice using longer sentences and conjunctions, and have the opportunity to improve your writing skills. The book also includes online exercises and assignments to help you get even better.
• De Finale: Are you planning to take the NT2 State Exam, Program 2? “De Finale” will expand your vocabulary with 2,000 new words and help you strengthen your grammar skills. You’ll delve into longer texts, learn to write better, and prepare for formal situations. Plus, you’ll get access to newspaper articles and practice exercises that resemble the exam.

Are you interested in taking an NT2 course at Babel for the first time? With the placement test, you can assess your current language level for free and with no obligation. The placement test takes about 60 minutes and will be graded by one of our instructors within 5 business days.
