About the course English Intermediate - fast (A2 → B1)
Do you want to speak English more fluently and join in conversations more easily, for example while traveling or at work? In this course, you’ll build on your foundation. You’ll practice speaking, writing, listening, and grammar through practical situations. For example, you’ll learn how to use polite language and how to explain an idea clearly. The result: greater confidence in your English and less hesitation when speaking up.
In 18 English lessons, you will learn:
- form longer and more complex sentences;
- share your opinion or an idea more clearly;
- write more accurate emails in English;
- describe people and situations in greater detail;
- make polite requests using appropriate language;
- participate more easily in discussions on familiar topics.
Standard or Intensive Option
This course consists of 18 sessions and is available in two options. With the standard option, you attend class once a week. If you choose the intensive option, you attend class twice a week and complete the course at a faster pace. The content and learning objectives are the same for both options.
In this course, you will work toward language level B1. Upon completion, you will be able to express yourself more clearly, write more accurately, and participate more easily in conversations, discussions, and simple meetings. After the course, you can continue with Advanced English Course (B1 → B2). After completing this course, you can also take the Cambridge Preliminary exam if your goal is to earn an internationally recognized certificate proving that you have reached level B1.

Approach
You practice a lot in pairs, small groups and class. You will work with situations from everyday life so that you can use English directly in conversations that are relevant to you. You will have plenty of room to speak, make mistakes and learn from them in a safe environment. You will also be encouraged to learn outside the classroom.
Teaching Materials
You work with the book “English File Pre-Intermediate,” supplemented by online exercises, homework and a pronunciation app. The material helps you practice grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking in a practical way. You can also download a special Pronunciation App to use with the course. Before the start of the course, we will inform you how to easily order the learning materials so that you can start your lesson well prepared.
Teachers
You will be taught by an experienced teacher who has an eye for your learning goals and development points. You will regularly receive targeted feedback on your language use, pronunciation and communication. The teacher responds to the needs of the group and provides a safe, motivating learning environment in which you grow step by step.
Certificate of Participation
You will receive a certificate of participation from us if you have actively participated in at least 80% of the meetings.
