About the State Exam NT2 II Preparation

Are you planning to take the NT2 State Exam Program II soon? Thorough exam preparation is essential. Think of it like a sports competition: you can only achieve a good result with a comprehensive training program. This course has been specially designed to prepare you for the State Exam. In this exam preparation course, you’ll practice the various components of the exam: reading, listening, writing, and speaking. You will learn to apply various exam strategies and to work under time pressure. You will practice the different exam components, such as completing sentences, writing formal texts, responding (quickly) to others, and answering multiple-choice questions.

After the NT2 State Exam Program II Exam Training:

  • do you know what parts the exam consists of;
  • apply targeted exam strategies to all sections;
  • you have practiced reading, listening, writing, and speaking intensively;
  • you’ll have a better idea of what’s expected of you during the exam;
  • Are you used to working under time pressure?

In this course, you’ll receive targeted preparation for the NT2 Program II State Exam at language level B2. By the end, you’ll have a better idea of what to expect, be able to tackle exam questions more effectively, and feel more confident going into the exam. After completing this course, you’ll be ready to demonstrate in the State Exam that you have a sufficient command of the Dutch language. With the diploma from the NT2 State Exam Program II, you’ll be ready to study or work in the Netherlands.

Approach

You practice the elements of the State Examination NT2 Program I. You work with assignments to work through the material independently and during the meetings we study the assignments together. You not only learn the material, but also how to tackle exam assignments smartly. The meetings are divided into one contact hour, one hour of self-study and a second contact hour.

Teaching Materials

You will work with practice exams and extra assignments. The material matches the exam requirements and helps you to familiarize yourself with the structure and questions of the official exam. he practice exams will be given to you during the course. There is no need to order course material in advance.

Teachers

You will receive a lot of personal feedback on your writing and speaking assignments. You will also receive extensive tips on reading and listening exercises. This way, you know exactly where you can grow and you can work towards the exam step by step in a safe learning environment.

Certificate of Participation

The main purpose of this exam training is to prepare you well for the official State Exam. Therefore, in the final phase of the course there is no final test, but you will take a number of practice exams. Based on these practice exams, the teacher will assess whether your language level is sufficient to participate in the Staatsexamen.

To make sure you enrol at the right level, you can take our free placement test. This test will help you assess your current level of Dutch. Once you’ve completed it, the test will be marked by one of our experienced teachers, who will provide you with personalised feedback. That way, you’ll know exactly which level suits you best.

Can I catch up on a missed Dutch class?

Unfortunately, in group courses it is not possible to make up a missed lesson, because the lessons take place at fixed times for the whole group. Through the lesson materials, homework and lesson plan in MyBabel, you can work through the missed material independently so that you can continue to follow the course well.

Can I pay for my Dutch course in installments?

You pay the course fee in a single payment. You can do this upon registration via iDEAL, credit card, or by having your employer pay the invoice.
