With this Italian course you will build on your foundation. You will increase your vocabulary, practice conversation and grammar and work step by step towards level A1-.
About the Italian 2 course
Do you already have a basic knowledge of Italian but would like to build on it? In this Italian course, you’ll work on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills. This will help you better understand information, carry on conversations, and clearly convey your message in Italian.
In 9 lessons of Italian 2:
- expand your basic Italian vocabulary;
- use your new irregular verbs;
- you practice using prepositions;
- you can understand Italian texts at a slightly higher level;
- are you looking for specific information in texts;
- you’ll speak with more confidence in everyday conversations.
In this course, you will work toward language level A1-. By the end, you will speak with greater confidence in simple situations, understand short texts better, and use grammar and vocabulary more accurately. After completing this course, you can continue with Italian Course 3 (A1- → A1).

Approach
You will practice grammar, reading, speaking and writing during the lessons under the guidance of an experienced teacher. You will do many assignments in pairs or small groups, giving feedback on each other’s work and actively working with the language.
Teaching Materials
You work with “Allegro nuovo 1” (work and textbook). With it you practice step by step with basic grammar, vocabulary and practical situations, so that you can use what you learn immediately. Before the start of the course, we will inform you how you can easily order the teaching materials so that you can start your lesson well prepared.
Teachers
You will be taught by an experienced teacher who is attentive to your learning goals and development. You will receive targeted feedback on your pronunciation, grammar and language usage. You will also gain insight into Italian culture and customs, so that the language really comes to life.
Certificate of Participation
You will receive a certificate of participation from us if you have actively participated in at least 80% of the meetings.
