About the French 4 course
Would you like to improve your French and speak with greater confidence with French speakers? In this French language course, you’ll work on your speaking, reading, and listening skills. You’ll practice conversations, learn to understand longer texts, and apply grammar correctly in spoken and written French. This will make it easier for you to communicate in everyday situations and feel more confident when traveling, studying, or interacting with French speakers.
In 9 lessons of French 4:
- you’ll speak French with more confidence when talking to strangers and French speakers;
- you can understand longer French texts and identify the main idea;
- answer questions about written and spoken texts;
- you use grammar correctly in spoken and written French;
- can you write simple business documents, such as a resume or cover letter, in French;
- you recognize and use informal language and common expressions;
In this course, you will work toward achieving A2-level proficiency. You will gain a deeper understanding of the French language and culture and apply the grammar you have learned accurately in conversations and written texts. After completing this course, you can move on to French Course 5 (A2 → B1).

Approach
Each lesson starts with a brief review of the previous lesson and provides space for questions. Then you work alternately in class, in groups or individually on interactive assignments. In this course you will learn to apply your grammar knowledge in written and spoken texts so that you can make the language your own.
Teaching Materials
You work with the book “Édito A2” (work and textbook). This method contains audio fragments, reading texts, speaking and pronunciation exercises and grammar. The material helps you develop the language step by step and apply it directly in conversations. Before the start of the course, we will inform you how you can easily order the learning material so that you can start your lesson well prepared.
Teachers
You will be taught by an experienced teacher who will guide you step by step as you learn French. The teacher provides targeted feedback on your pronunciation, grammar and communication. In addition, you will gain insight into French culture, customs and language usage so that the language really comes alive.
Certificate of Participation
You will receive a certificate of participation from us if you have actively participated in at least 80% of the meetings.
