English Advanced – fast (B2 → C1)
This course refines your English for study and work. You learn to communicate more accurately and speak more fluently with more confidence. You will work toward level C1.
About the Advanced English course
Do you want to bring your English up to the level required for university studies or to be able to work entirely in English? With this Advanced English course, you’ll work on your language skills to master the language at a high level. You’ll focus on the difference between formal and informal language use and on adding nuance when speaking and writing. This will help you feel more confident in social and professional situations and make it easier to connect with people in English.
In 18 English lessons:
- express your complex ideas more precisely and naturally;
- you’ll use formal and informal English more effectively;
- present and discuss abstract topics with greater nuance;
- expand your vocabulary for social and work situations;
- you write and speak with greater subtlety and control;
- you’ll feel more confident in a variety of professional settings.
Standard or Intensive Option
This course consists of 18 sessions and is available in two options. In the standard option, you attend class once a week. If you choose the intensive option, you attend class twice a week and complete the course at a faster pace. The content and learning objectives are the same for both options.
In this course, you will work toward language level C1. Upon completion, you will communicate more fluently on complex topics and express your ideas with greater nuance. You will feel more confident in your studies, work, and social interactions in English. After the course, you can continue with English Proficiency Course (C1 → C2). After completing this course, you can also take the Cambridge Advanced exam if your goal is to earn an internationally recognized certificate proving that you have reached level C1.

Approach
You practice a lot in pairs, small groups and class. You will work with situations from everyday life, so that you can use English directly in conversations that are relevant to you. You will have plenty of room to speak, make mistakes and learn from them in a safe environment. You will also be encouraged to learn outside the classroom.
Teaching Materials
You work with the book “English File Pre-Intermediate,” supplemented by online exercises, homework and a pronunciation app. The material helps you practice grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking in a practical way. You can also download a special Pronunciation App to use with the course. Before the start of the course, we will inform you how to easily order the learning materials so that you can start your lesson well prepared.
Teachers
You will be taught by an experienced teacher who has an eye for your learning goals and development points. You will regularly receive targeted feedback on your language use, pronunciation and communication. The teacher responds to the needs of the group and provides a safe, motivating learning environment in which you grow step by step.
Certificate of Participation
You will receive a certificate of participation from us if you have actively participated in at least 80% of the meetings.
