About Swedish level 2

Swedish is a North Germanic and Scandinavian language with about 9 million speakers. One of the prominent features of Swedish is its melody. It is a tonal language where different pitches can change the meaning of words. Because Swedish consists almost entirely of Germanic words, this language can be learned relatively quickly by those who know Dutch, English or other Germanic languages.

In this course you will work on your vocabulary and grammar in a systematic way. Ideal if you want to do an exchange programme in Lund or Uppsala, or if you do business in Sweden. You can take this course if you have completed Swedish Level 1 or have studied the language for about 20 hours.
